This is one of the shrines of Akasaka which is where we were staying at in Tokyo. It is like the town/district. There was a festival at this shrine earlier, but when I went during our lunch break, the festival was over. You walk up the "tunnel" of orange, or the "torii" to the Sotobori-dori which is a concrete plaza where the rope circle is located. I love visiting places like this because it allows you to experience history.
