What we've been up to lately

Since Clark's birthday not too much has happened so that is why I have been MIA from the blog.

We did have an eventful Thanksgiving though!  Our friends Nick and Alicia came over for Thanksgiving dinner.  We have them over for dinner often and hosting dinner at our house was a lot easier with Clark.  We shared the dinner responsibilities and it's amazing how much food 2 families can make for 4.5 people!  Clint wanted to make the turkey and so did Alicia so we had 2!  Clint wanted to BBQ a turkey and found a great recipe where you put bacon over the top.

The eventful part of the night had to do with the barbeque.  Clint wanted wood chips but we couldn't find any on post, so I went to the E-Mart to see if they would have something.  Instead I found this:
Yes, that's fire extinguisher powder...
They said Smoked Oak Charcoal.  They smelled good so Clint tried to use them.  He had started some of our regular charcoal and attempted to put one of these Korean disk charcoal things into the bbq.  It didn't fit so he took it out and set it under the bbq in the little ash tray thing.  He was looking around for something to break it apart with when smoke started to come up around the bbq.  Clint couldn't figure out where the smoke was coming from, when flames started to erupt from under the bbq.  It got so bad that he got the fire extinguisher and put it out.  But the Korean charcoal was more like a trick candle and kept igniting.  He ended up having to go get a bucket of water and dump the Korean charcoal disk into the water.
Here is a video of what the charcoal does when you light it:

We did have a delicious meal and all the food was wonderful!

Someone is ready to eat!

Figured out our oven doesn't cook very evenly

Driving by one of the "love shops" in town.  :/

Breaking glasses. :(

Going crazy from breaking glasses, or just being a fun mommy.

Being a silly kid!

Discovering that the cold makes our water jugs not as durable and getting our dinning room floor cleaned with 5 gallons of water!

Participating in the Camp Humphrey's Holiday Bazaar, attempting to sell Stampin Up products.

Mailing packages home!

Playing at Little Bear.  Clark's in the yellow truck.

Wes watching the snow

Eating lots of Oreos!  Anna got these for me for taking care of her kitties while she was back in the States.  I told her I would be happy to take care of her kitties as long as this was payment.  :)

Enjoying the Christmas tree.

 Making snow angels
Making sperm and egg cupcakes for Alicia's baby shower.

Freezing last Sunday when our heater broke. :(

Trying to figure this contraption out.  Apparently it just took a Korean to come over, open the window in the laundry room, hang out the window and bang on the side of the house, then it was fixed!

Enjoying the ER bounce house.  No ER visits yet!

Snuggle time with momma and Gorilla.

Now you are caught up to today!  Guess even though nothing special happened this last month we were busy and the Holiday Bazaar had me really busy.  :)

Clark's 3rd Birthday!

I can't believe he is 3! It's not necessarily a bad thing, it's just a shock some times.  :)  But this year we tried to make it fun for all of us and we're still able to have his Moogie, Geegee, Papi and Mimi involved through video chat!

On his birthday we had our friends Anna, Alicia and Nick come over for dinner and cake.  I bought the cake at a Korean bakery.  I asked her what flavor and she started to point at all cakes.  Pink=Strawberry, Brown=Chocolate, then she got to the one I wanted and hesitated then said "White!"  It was a good enough answer for me because it was such a cool looking cake.

I added a video of Clark playing at the bounce house in the mix of birthday stuff because we went there on his birthday.  1,000 won gets you a half hour of jump time.  There were some girls that were infatuated with him.  One girl asked what his name was and then they all chased him saying Kaallarrkkaaa, kaalllaarrkkkkaaa.  Hilarous!
Can you see why I HAD to buy this cake?!

Wow, I look just like my mom!  :)

Thank goodness we have such wonderful, awesome friends who love us and still had cake despite the fact that our child spit all over the cake trying to blow out the candles!

Merrik gave Clark a transformer, Optimus Prime, and this is him using his transformer to haul his new little cars Clint and I got him.  Then we had to let him watch the transformer cartoon to show him where the toy came from.  He became much more interested in it after that and goes around the house singing, "Transformers, robots in disguise!  Transformers, more then meets the eye!"

We finally found a park with sand!  What a great birthday treat!

He is doing such an amazing job learning how to swing!

Along with the cake, the bakery lady gave us these.  This is where Korea totally rocks!  They supplied us with a knife, candles and matches for our cake and little bottle poppers!  Plus the matches were totally awesome

Playing with his new Legos

We also held a birthday party for him today, Saturday, with his friends.  8 wild children running around and it was totally awesome!

Then tonight we went to an Indian restaurant for dinner.  Clark was totally cute with his hands on his cheeks.  :)

We had one tired little boy who was asleep by 7:45 tonight!

Lastly, I asked him questions about some of his favorite things.  Here is what he told me.  I just wrote down his responses:
