Temples

A few weeks ago HBO's show Big Love had an episode showing a woman going through the "temple." The show stated that they had "experts" that described temple ceremonies so they could be "accurately" displayed. Clint and I recorded the show while on Spring Break because we were interested to see what they would publicize. It was nothing like what we expected and left us feeling a little violated. I told Clint that it was as if someone had taken naked pictures of us and posted them on the web for everyone to see. Our Temple Covenants are sacred. Hence why we have rules and that you have to be a prepared member of our church in order to enter this sacred and holy place.
In response to this episode, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints published a youtube video describing temples. I also found another similar, but equally informative video about temples. Both are WELL WORTH the viewing and I hope you take the 6 or so minutes to watch. Questions about Temples come up very frequently and I hope that those who read this blog, and have not had the opportunity to visit a temple will get some answers out of these videos.
