Hope you had a Happy Easter, but the Rabbit Died at our house

So I am sure many of you are thinking, "what the heck is she talking about" or "that's not a very nice thing to say, I have young children in the house!" Well read the following:

"Around 1927 it was discovered that if you injected the urine of a pregnant woman into a rabbit, there would be corpora hemorrhagica in the ovaries of the rabbit. These bulging masses on the ovaries could not be seen with out killing the rabbit to inspect the ovaries, so invariably, every rabbit died, even if the woman wasn't pregnant. The phrase, "The rabbit died," came to be a euphemism for a positive pregnancy test after the late 1920 and early 1930s." (about.com)

Still think I'm horrible? My mood might be, depending on how much sleep I've gotten or how rough of a day I've had, but Clint and I are elated. We have been wanting children for a VERY long time and have had no success until now. Yeah us!

We had our first OB appointment today and we got to hear the baby's heartbeat. Clint and I actually thought we were going to see the baby, but the doctor just put up this microphone looking devise with an attached speaker and found our little one's heart beating between 166 and 169 bpm. It won't be until our June appointment that we get to see the baby who is due November 2nd. She also said that everything looks good and I measure right at 12weeks and 3 days.

We'll keep you posted on advancements. :)
