Spontaneous Hike

My first brand new car!

We had the hood decal added, I think it makes it look better. 

While out exploring we found a dirt road that lead to a trailhead so we decided to hike a little . This was also our first time taking our new car off road!

All of us were just amazed at hour beautiful it was!

The boys hate me stopping them to take pictures, so I do lots of "selfies".

GIGANTIC Spider.  Thank goodness it was dead, but it about as big as my thumb!

We keep hearing stories of the OCT 4th storm.  It was the huge blizzard that came though South Dakota, put feet of snow on the ground and killed hundreds of sheep. The local area has been clearing the trails of the fallen trees and we keep coming across giant piles of wood like this.

Bet most of you are wondering what this is and why I took a picture of it.  Well it is a bathroom and I didn't take a picture, but gave the camera to Clark to hold while I used the facility. Pretty good picture for a 4 year old!
