Seoul Forest and El Presidente!

This last week Clint's Army Unit invited families up to Seoul to participate in festivities, aka, mandatory fun.  But we actually did have fun!
The next day Clark and I went with our friends to Seoul Forest because they were having a Butterfly exhibit.  It was TOTALLY AWESOME!
This area of the park used to be a water recycling system that they turned into a garden.

Pretty blue flowers.

The hand is going to get you!

The boys in the Butterfly exhibit!

Beautiful, giant black butterfly.

This one was my favorite!

You can't see the butterfly really well, but that is what he was looking at.

Different cocoons!

Some of them were even moving around or had butterflies that had just come out!

Fooling around!

Turtles

I turned into a butterfly!

I keep seeing these blue butterflies in different exhibits around Korea.

But this one actually allowed me to see what they look like on the other side!  Who knew!

Clark smelling the giant flowers.

Sleeping hedgehog!

Gives me the creepy crawlies!  I remember when I was younger we found a tarantula on my brother's wall above his bed.  I wonder how long it had been in his room before it decided to crawl up the wall. You're welcome for that wonderful thought Jack!

Oh and then there was this creepy creature!

I'm so happy I haven't ever seen a beetle this big in real life!

At the begining of the park there is a sign that says no digging, yet we found these...

We have lived here almost 2 years and this was the first place I have EVER seen trash bags that weren't in someone's house!

This was a cool structure that the kids could climb inside!

Love this picture!

We saw these Korean women enjoying lunch in this tube.  It was adorable!

So we pretended to take pictures of the kids so we could really take pictures of them!

Sorry for the smudged lense.

Can you see the difference in the two?  One the jacket is open, the bottom one it is zipped.

As per tradition, if there are horses, I take a picture with them!

Waiting for the President. We were actually trying to leave before he got there, but ended up seeing him drive by.

The presidential parade begins!

One of these Limos had Obama in it, I think...

Me excited to be on the train, Clint, just ready to be home!
