My Favorite Place In South Korea - Farmland!

Today Clark and I went to Farmland with our friends Nick, Alicia and Arya.
(Clint was off riding motorcycles).
Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Farmland!
It's amazing there!  Lots of open rolling hills
(not typical in Korea), Animals to pet and love on,
HORSES, and it's almost all outside! Amazingness!
Now is the time for the Cherry Blossoms to bloom and I originally wanted to go down to the south of Korea to the Jinhea Cherry Blossom Festival, but MWR was going via bus.  For those who don't know why a bus is bad, it is 1. the trip was 3.5 hours south and 2. ALL  Korean buses are BLAZING HOT when the outside temp in less than 85 degrees outside!  Sounded like a barftacular time! Then there was the whole spending money and time to travel south ourselves only to be pushed and shoved and smashed by Koreans. So we decided that there are plenty of beautiful Cherry Blossoms here, right outside our front door to go see.

And yes, Clark has a fascination with rocks.

Smelling the Cherry Blossoms.

#1 Reason Farmland is AWESOME!

Arya and Clark visiting with the cows.

Really had to talk Clark into feeding the cows.

The horse that bit poor Arya!

This is Clark's favorite part of Farmland. Mostly because they let the kid into the area with the bunnies and he can pet and pick up the bunnies!

We always attract a collection of Koreans when we are out!

I just thought this bunnie was adorable.

Yet I always saw people with carrots on sticks and clovers they had picked to give to the bunnies!

Looks like a drum...

But had a cartoon on a screen on it!

Juki the Korean version of a Singer!

Way to grind rice!

I think this was to mash cotton?  Not sure...

But they had bags of cotton surrounding the grinding bowl.

Finally got to go in and pet the bunnies.

And pick them up!

Traditional Korean games!

This sweet cow that loved to lick and get scratched on his face!

PET ME!

More games!

I need to do more research because I have no idea why Koreans have dogs on display at places like Farmland and zoos!

And most of the parents are terrified to let their kids next to them.

Carrots will protect you from being bitten!

Pretty sure baby goats are one of the cutest things on the face of the planet!  Especially when they make adorable little goat cries!

Baby sheep are pretty adorable too!

Best part of the visit was then this sheep jumped out of the "arena" and the korean lady standing to the sheep's left screeched!

Then all the sheep started to MAA all at the same time and it was hilarious.  Clark and I were totally belly laughing!

Sweet little sheep!

Giant Border Collie

Of course I had to take a picture with it!  Even with my Border Collie reincarnated aka Clark!

Loves riding trains!

Cool optical illusion!
