Easter 2013

Yes, Easter is about our Savior being risen from the dead after being crucified and atoning for our sins. But on the MUCH lighter note, celebrating Easter with your children has become much more fun now that Clark is old enough to "get it."  He accepted the explanation of the Easter Bunny and was extremely excited/worried about the Easter Bunny coming.  He was excited because we had decorated eggs but worried about the thought of the Easter Bunny coming into our house while he was sleeping.  I told him I was going to let the Easter Bunny in and that seemed to calm his fears a little more.

Saturday we participated in the Camp Humphreys Eggstraveganza.  There was an Easter Egg Hunt although for Clark's age group it was plastic blow up eggs, blow up ducks and stuffed animals.

He did such an awesome job dying the eggs.

I made the "mistake" of buying glitter decorations for the eggs.  This picture is where you take the dyed egg and dip it in the food adhesive so the glitter will stick.

We now have CRAFT HERPIES (aka glitter) in our house EVERYWHERE!
