30 Facts About Me!

In honor of my birthday, I thought I would share 30 facts about myself.
1. I was born in a docotor's office, that was set up for birthing and my parent's had me home a few hours after I arrived in this world.
2. I believe that the love of horses runs through my blood. Just the smell of a horse can make my day much better.
3. I thought I wanted to be a horse trainer, until I started working as a groom and giving lessons and realized that I wanted horses to be fun and not work for me. By the time I got to ride, I was exhausted!
4.I rode 150 miles across the Mojave Desert on my horse. That's 6 days and doing about 20 miles a day.
5. I did 4-H when I was younger and not only did I show horses (obviously) but I entered Fudge, and Chocolate Chip Cookies and got blue ribbons on both.
6. I tried surfing and it kicked my tail! Got rolled by a wave, sand in EVERY place possible and havne't tried it sence. That was about 6 or 7 years ago.
7. I attempted to be like Clint and try mountain biking. It kicked my tail, and I much prefer horses because they can feel what you are thinking and they usually don't lead you down a trail and into a giant hole. :) Concusion and giant scrape on my face.
8. I met Clint in high school and we both went to eachother's 16th birthday parties.
9. I took a painting class in college and had a lot of fun and think I have a tiny little bit of talent.
10. I did the sky dive at Magic Mountain when I was 16 or 17. It lifts you up this giant tower and then it drops you and then you swing. Some guy told me I had great lungs...
11. I managed to get some Japanese girls to look up from their phones when I tried to hook my feet onto the handle bars in the subway car and when I tried to swing from rung to rung in the subway car.
12. People underestimate me for being a quite shy person. Little do they know, muhahaha... :)
13. I HATE peas!
14. I love pickeled onions. Almost bought some the other day. :)
15. I use to do polocross which is polo and la cross in the same game.
16. I went to a small private christian school from 4-8th grade then went to Mission Viejo High along with 3000 other students. How did I ever manage to meet Clint? Oh yeah, my looser riding friends started to do drugs. Thank goodness for my 4-H friends.
17. I almost got in a fight with a gang of mexican girls in high school. My very tall, Indian friend saved my tail. She just looked like a giant mexican. :)
18. I hated high school. I wonder why?
19. I didn't like reading as a kid, but am often called a book worm now by my family.
20. I was a cheerleader in junior high.
21. Being pregnant was not as much fun as I thought it would be with the nausea, back aches and lack of sleep, but having Clark was WAYYYY WAYY worth it and I wouldn't trade it for the world, even when he's waking up at 4 am and flinging food at me and screaming when I change his diaper. He's too darn cute the rest of the time. :)
22. Had a lot of fun living in Kansas because I made WONDERFUL friends and got to experience real weather.
23. Never have been through a tornado, but my cats, dog, husband and his grandma and mom all have been!
24. Had a tornado dream after a tornado went through Manhattan.
25. Survived an ice storm. No heat/electricity for 6 days. Yuck.
26. I have never given blood because I'm afraid of the giant needles.
27. My first "love at first sight" was not Clint, but a 58 Chevy Corvette. :)

28. Clint and I backpacked around Europe for 2 months in 2001.
29. I traveled to Japan and spend 3 weeks there by myself and 159 fellow teachers that I had never met before the trip.
30. I'm extremely happy to have my family because each and every one of them are awesome!

Birthday Girl:

I'm not stoned, or wasted, just exhausted from Clark waking us up at 4 each morning.

Me and my family:

Clark started to cover both of his ears tonight. Funny kid.

Clint and Me:

My very exhausted baby, even through we went to dinner at 6 and were home by 7:30.

Clark's face after he sucked on a slice of lemon.

So fun! So many things I didn't know about you. You have a very interesting past! I would have loved to see you swing rung to rung in a subway car. But more than that, I want to know more about fighting a group of Mexican girls!

Did I miss your birthday?! Darn--sorry. Clark looks adorable--the little stinker. And no, I didn't know you rode your horse 6 days across the Mojave desert. Impressive.

I forgot to mention that although we had showers, they were cold, very cold. :(
