On Monday Clark will turn 3 months old. With this new age, also comes the growing in length and weight. He weighs 14lbs already and he's quickly taking up the room in his bassinet! For some reason yesterday I decided that Clark needed to start to nap in his crib. Clint and I aren't comfortable with him sleeping all night in there all by himself just yet. Mostly because it's terrifying to me and because it's so much easier to get him out of the bassinet next to the bed and feed him in the middle of the night. So I have settled to having him nap in his crib during the day. I'm torn a little because I've read a bunch about SIDS and recently it is said that babies shouldn't even sleep in a separate room during the day. I'm not sure if that statement came from the Pediatric Associates, but I know I heard it on the news a few weeks ago. But on the other hand, thousands of babies sleep all the time in their cribs and are just fine and I can easily go in the room to check on him. Plus other parents have their babies sleep in their cribs since the day they bring them home from the hospital. Clint and I on the other hand, had no desire and I didn't even want him to sleep in the bassinet!
He's only been in there for about 10 minutes and I already sent Clint to go check.
It helped a lot that even though he was kind of awake when I put him down, he seemed to realized that this was a good decision and went to sleep quickly and with out fussing. Several times during the last few weeks Clark will be very asleep on my shoulder and the minute he gets into the bassinet he jolts awake. This time he seemed very comfortable with going to sleep in his crib.
Here's a picture of the cutie in the crib.

Today I also had 2 baby showers and I had a friend take this picture of me and Clark in his new outfit that my Aunt Jan got him and that came in the mail this week. If I look exhausted, well, that's because I am. I didn't get to sleep until 2 am because I was having fun with my friends!

These are some pictures of Clark and Clint yesterday.
