Bath Baby

So this week we finally started to give Clark a bath in the bath tub tray thing we have. This tub is a portable tub that you can either sit in your house tub or fit into the kitchen sink. When we first gave Clark a bath in the tub, he SCREAMED bloody murder. He turned a pupley red color and took 15 minutes to calm down after. This amount of crying was terrifying to new parents. So, after Clint and I calmed him down and almost cried ourselves, we vowed to not give him a bath in the tub for a while and that he would get a sponge bath. Well actually I think at the time we were so traumatized that we didn't ever want to give him a bath and didn't understand why or how other children loved baths. Even the sponge baths were a little difficult for the little man. At first it took both of us. One of use to bathe him and one to hold the pacifier in his mouth and keep him from crying. There were some baths that I gave by myself and he screamed.
So lately he's been doing the sponge baths very calmly so I decided to try the tub again. After all, one wash cloth and one hooded towel a night is a lot less laundry then two wash clothes, one hooded towel and one regular towel for him to get his sponge bath on.

Also there is a picture of Clark and his grandma (Moogie) from the other night. The first day she was in town she had babysitting duty along with Clark's great grandma. He did great and I survived being away from him all morning. We're having a great time with her here to visit and she's having a blast being Grandma.
