On his weekend birthday, Clint got a VW GTI. Which is a car that he has wanted for a very very long time. Leave it to Clint to get pulled over by a police officer on the way home from the dealership for going 78 in a 65 zone. Then while I was driving the car a woman pulled out in front of me and I had a near miss. Then on Sunday Clint was pulling out of the driveway at church and was almost bulldozed by a huge Chevy truck with a giant metal grill on the front. Clint had to quickly get out of the sliding truck and almost went off the road himself. The truck was clearly driving over the 40 mph since he slid for a while.
Thankfully the car is and it's peps are just fine. Although Clint is a little crazy about allowing dirt to get on the car. I brought it home today with a present from a bird on it, and Clint just about flipped out and instantly went outside to wash it off. Can't blame him on that one since bird do, does major damage to your paint.
It was well worth the wait for the car! See pictures below.

Hey, You Two: Nice wheelz! Glad to hear it survived its first week. We trust everything else is going well in Kansas. I'm wrapping up my semester, and Jodi just sat for a new board exam for her nutrition degree. In a couple of weeks, we're headed out the door for three week trike tour with Django. Lots on our plate right now. You must be sooo excited about Japan.
