Gotta love the weather...

What an exciting day. NOT!!! Grandma and I just got back after cowering in the tornado shelter at her apartment complex. For those in CA reading this, your heart stops when you hear the tornado sirens go off and you know that YOU have to take shelter. Much more terrifying then watching it on t.v. My bumm hurts from sitting on the concrete floor for an hour and a half, but at least we are safe and didn't get too wet.

You will see that Reiner is a little scared since he was hiding under my legs. There were about 30 or so people who went to the shelter which I didn't think was that many since there are about 300 people who live in the complex.

The downfall to being in the shelter was that we had no idea what was happening with the weather. There was no t.v. and no internet access, believe me, about 4 of us had our computers out and were trying to get a signal. Oh well. It was real exciting when right as the really bad cell of weather was overhead, neither of our cell phones were working. Yikes!

As for right now, Grandma and I are back safe in her comfortable, not hot, apartment watching the lightening and listening to the house shaking thunder. I think the dog is trying to stuff his portly body under her bed. He hates thunder.

Just another adventure for this Wayland...
