This weekend Korea celebrated Buddha's birthday (May 6th this year). Clint's friend Steve invited us to go with his family to Seoul. I have been wanting to go to a lantern festival since I first learned about them, but as most Korean festivals, it's a MILLION Koreans in a small area. Thankfully it wasn't too crowded most of the time.

Changing of the guard ceremony. |

Refusing to wear his sunglasses. |

Me and my love hanging in Seoul, South Korea. One day I will forget all the bad and only remember the good! |

Sorry the picture is blurry, but it was awesome watching him jump the stairs! |

Clark took the camera...some pictures were good.... |
And some were not! |
And this is Steve! The man who has helped keep Clint's sanity through motorcycle riding! |
I love seeing things like this! |
Cool and creepy police vehicles. As the night went on, we noticed how un-creepy they were when we saw the Korean Police sitting in them with their shoes off and feet up on the celine. |
Insadong - the area with the MILLION Koreans. |
The sea of black hair! |
And the lanterns begin! |
My favorite picture, think it needs to be framed! |
He wouldn't hold still for the picture... |

This is one of the things I love about Clark! I love how he has such a strong personality and individual character! He cracks us up, and is such a blessing to have in our lives! |

This was a bunch of Korean Police lined up. |
The pictures below are pictures Steve took. He got some great shots. :)

This was the guy who makes "Chicken on a Stick". It was a lot of fun watching him while I waiting in line. I thought about him and his wife and all they did was stand there and cook chicken, cut off the burnt pieces, put spicey sauce on it if you wanted, and then collect money for the food. I'm sure they made a ton, at 3 bucks a stick! All it was, was a small piece of chicken which green onion between and some salt! Amazing, delicious and easy! |
Love this picture! We look miserable! We were tired, but still having a great time! It was about 8pm and we had been walking around since 2pm! I had woke up at 6:30 after going to bed at midnight so I was beat. |
Us at this AMAZING pancake place in Hannam. Seriously delicious food! I cleaned my plate, and I'm not usually one to do that at restaurants. I ordered the "Uncle Tom" which was a waffle, eggs, sausage, potato, and a chicken leg. Yes, a chicken leg! Clint wanted the chicken leg and I scarfed the rest! Dang it, now I'm hungry again and I want an Uncle Tom! |
Clint getting frustrated with his phone! |
Our family, and yes, Clark is biting Clint's shirt! |
