Carving Pumpkins

Each Halloween I always want to carve pumpkins, but I seem to be the only one interested in doing it so it never gets done. This year, I was determined to make Clark's first Halloween a memerable experince, I'm sure more for us then for him, but he can later look at the pictures.

Clark helping me clean out the pumpkins

Argg, I forgot how difficult and messy cleaning out pumpkins can be.

Clint at work on his pumpkin.

The lepor pumpkin that we originally got for Clint, but it was rotting.

More work on the pumpkins.

Here Mom, let me help and then I'll try to eat some to make sure it's good.

Clark loved munching on the raw pumpkin pieces. The plant that is next to him is also a favorite to "taste." He does more pulling the leaves off and then I take them out of his hand before he eats them. We better leave soon before he strips this plant of all it's leaves.

I'm not the one to worry about...

It's grandpa that you need to worry about...

I'm the innocent one...

Pumpkin carving takes a lot of consintration.

Grandpa decided to take on the lepor pumpkin.

More pictures of Clark assisting in the pumpkin carving.
