The Dentist and stuff...

About a week ago, a tooth of mine started to hurt and was causing some of my other teeth to hurt. I drug myself to the dentist. For those of you who don't know, I'm TERRIFIED of the dentist! I never really have ever liked it, but getting my wisdom teeth removed really ruined it for me. I remember the dentist putting a pair of pliers into my mouth! I started to cry and after that I HATE the dentist. (I was 17 or 18 at the time too) In fact, I was so worried about getting the rest of my wisdom teeth removed that I was given anesthesia and then threw up for 2 days after the surgery.

So this fear I have has caused me to avoid the dentist and for problems to creep into each of my teeth. I think I have either a cavity, cracked filling or am in need of a root canal in ever one of my teeth. But since my one tooth has been hurting, I decided to go and get things taken care of. After all I've been paying for dental insurance for the last 3 years. When I called, I was told that the dentist was not a provider for my insurance company. This made me upset especially when I called the insurance company and they told me my network was TOPEKA! Are you kidding! What moron at the district signed us all up for OUT OF NETWORK dental insurance? After some more phone calls and a couple of days of being upset I figured out that it really doesn't make a difference, especially when it comes to fillings and root canals.
The tooth that was hurting had the possibility of either just being a big cavity or might need a root canal. So I walked into the dental office today thinking worse case scenario. The doctor and assistant did a good job of distracting me and making me as comfortable as possible. I was relieved when the doctor got done and said that it just needed a big filling. UNFORTUNATELY... I still have another tooth that hurts and I know for sure it needs a root canal. YUCK!

I've also included some cute pictures of Clark from today:
