Camping with the new trailer!

Last weekend was our fist time out with the new to us pop up tailer.

Fist we attempted Sylvan Lake, but as you can see it was a mad house so we went to Deerfield Lake.

We thought Wesley was just being sweet, but no, he had peed in his carrier and didn't want to be in it!. Seriously cat, you did like 10 hours in the thing on an airplane, but couldn't last 2 hours in the car?

Cool tunnel we got to go through!

Clark was so happy to have Wesley in his lap!

The views are just amazing here!

The whole set up!

Our view from our sitting area under the EZ Up.

Small hike to Deerfield Lake from our campsite!

The lone traveler is back!

This is what happens when I ask him to actually smile.

Then I punched him and got a better smile.

One of my favorite pictures!

There's Ruby waiting for us to catch dinner!

Too bad they were all too small to catch.

It was a rough day to say the least!

Fishing pole for Clark: $30, box of worms: $5, Clark playing with the worms while Momma fishes: Priceless. :)

The lone traveler strikes again!

Clint trying to sneak up on the fish! Apparently some are very observant.

Little Brooke Trout that we kept because the hook did too much damage.  Clint dried his shoes on the fire while he cooked the fish! We had a great tip other then Clint thinking I packed clothes for him, which in the 18 years we have been together I have NEVER packed for him, but mentioned a we when talking about what I packed for me and Clark so he thought the we meant him too. :(  So if he had known, he wouldn't have been stomping through the water and mud like he did in his only pair of shoes!  So he had to dry his shoes some how, and that was at the same time as his fish was cooking.  Consequently, his shoes now smell like smoked salmon! Put those things on a bagel with some cream cheese and super delicious!

Trying to take a picture with Clark.

Good back ground, but Clark was trying to feed me grapes.

Finally!

Deer we saw on the way back to our tent.

I apologize about the state of the trailer, but here is the inside of the trailer.

Thankfully I "overpacked" blankets so we were barely warm enough. We couldn't figure out how to get the heater to work when not plugged into the house,  so it was REALLY cold that night! Clint had also made the trailer a little colder trying to make the heater work because it would just blow cold air on us!

Our old school curtains that need to be replaced!

ITS FREEZING!

Chipmunk!

Wesley getting some sunshine!

Clark thought he needed to go explore this area of the camp site!

Off Roading the Jeep!

The trial was so easy we decided to let Clark drive!

Seriously trying to get a NICE picture with these two is just about impossible!

The boys scouting the trail! We thought the jeep was 64 inches wide, but when we got home we realized it was closer to 70!

This tree was cut exactly the distance of the trail. So we needed some guiding. I HATE guiding vehicles places so I drove and made Clint guide me!  He did a fabulous job!

We had to go around the trail because there were two giant trees down.  Getting the jeep up here I had her on 3 wheels and Clint's expression was awesome!  Clark was even sitting in my lap! We didn't think it was that big of a hill to go around the trees, but turned out it was. Very fun!
