Wesley is back!

Clint brought Wes back with him from California this week.  We are all happy to have him back, but I think Clark is the happiest!

Wes actually likes the attention from Clark

RUB MY TUMMY!

Panda-Mania

At some point while living in San Diego, Clint got fed up with the national news reporting more on Ling Ling the Panda that was born at the San Diego Zoo, that didn't even belong to us, but China, yet we were paying for all expenses of it. From that point, he has hated pandas.  So I like to mess with him and while he was in the states last week, this is what I did to his office!

There are 5 pandas in the picture, can you find them all?

When I originally built this guy he was 12 feet, but Clint's office was only 8 feet.  :(

Fun Clark Story

About a month ago, maybe a little longer, we tackled potty training.  After Clark asked me to take him to go potty on the first day we were in our new church building and about a week after moving into our new house I decided that the boy was ready!

I got ideas from Pinterest on Potty Training and for the most part he did AWESOME.  We did fun things like make ice cubes out of Kool-Aid to put in 7-UP. I let him pick as many salty and sweet treats as he wanted from the store, and we did Jelly Beans as rewards for being successful in the potty. He LOVED IT.  I think the first day we had no accidents and it wasn't until I forgot to remind him would he have an accident.  I would set my timer on my phone and when it would go off, he had to go potty, or at least try. Now if I set my timer on my phone for cooking or something he says, "I don't have to go!" or "Time to go Potty!"

Slowly over the last couple of weeks he has been more and more successful with being out and about without having accidents.  Now, unless Clark is absorbed in games, he remembers to go or tell me at least.

In fact, last weekend we were in a furniture shop and after talking with the owner I turned to find Clark and didn't see him.  Then I heard a toilet flush.  Clark had gone into the bathroom, shut the door and gone by himself!

Clark especially likes to "pee in nature" but it has only happened a few times.  He has peed on a couple tress and one day was adamant about peeing on the grass outside our house. Oh the joys of having a boy!

Then today at Lotte World, Clint and I would take turns having him go to the bathroom with us. Slowly Clark started to only want to go to the bathroom with Clint.  He likes to pee in the Urinals.  Clint told me this story:

Clark tells him which Urinal he wants Clint to use and then picks a different one.  Today they went into one bathroom that had about 7 urinals to choose from. No one else was in the bathroom except for them.  Clark ran to the far one and told Clint to use that one, then went back to the first one to use, only another man  had walked in a started to use it.  Clark stood there in bewilderment about how someone had come in and started to use his urinal.  He was standing there ready to pull his pants down and was staring up at the guy, like, well aren't you going to move?  Then when he realized he wasn't going to move, he went over to the second urinal and stood in front of it until the man left and Clark ran over and used the first one.

He is a particular little boy, but I sure do get a kick out of the fun things that he does!

Lotte World

Korea has so many fun things to offer us, unfortunately, a lot of it is up in Seoul.  So because today is Labor Day we drove up so we could take Clark to Lotte World. It is a mostly indoors amusement park with a ton of things for small kids to do.  It was AWESOME! Aside from there being plenty of things for all of us to do as a family, it was indoors, they actually knew how to air condition it and there weren't near as many people as I thought there would be.

Inside from the little monorail.

Clark and Clint trying to suck up foam balls with the vacuum.

Shooting foam balls at each other!

Clint getting more amo.

Clint and Clark shooting at me!

This machine would suck up the balls and then shoot them in the air, and they would all come falling down on us.

Collecting balls to put in the vacuum.

Clint juggling while Clark vacuums.

Balls falling from the cage that collected the balls from the vacuum.

Collecting balls to make the cage full again.

The whale swallowing me!

Marry go round thing.

Spinning car ride.

Watch out Clint, the panda might get you!

Do we have to go Dad?

Waiting in line for a ride.  Eureka is Lotte World's equivalent to the Dumbo ride at Disneyland.

It is amazing how much Clark can look like me then so much like Clark.

We had these little hand pumps that really did nothing.

This was a funky tour bus that went around.  I have absolutely no idea what they said, but they did a funky little dance to "Tequila".
Clark's first Carousel ride. :)

Smiling like Clark

Mommy's turn to smile like Clark.

Clark's first bumper cars ride.

Didn't realize until I looked at the pictures that Clint was very squished in the little car.

I went into the bathroom and saw this sign.  I thought it just meant that there was an actual toilet not one of the squatting things I have seen in Asia.

Instead I found this. A little child's toilet. How cute and thoughtful!

They also do this in most bathrooms.  They make one sink so that kids can easily wash their hands on their own.

Clark's first whack a mole game.

Clint found a Semi-Truck video game for Clark to play.

Oh and yes, Clark likes to bite his nails just like his momma used to!

What the video game looked like.

The outside park for Lotte World

Wouldn't be a family trip if Clark didn't refuse to take a picture at some point.

Yummy treat!  Waffle with honey and "butter" we think.

Clark got thrown in jail.

Mirror maze.

Spinning tunnel that made you feel like the ramp was turning.  Very fun!

Ice Skating rink.

One of the fun signs I found around.
Yes it says, "It Loses Sexily and Tell Glamor Cannot." Maybe the Korean Yoda told her the message.

Maybe instead of Laffy Taffy?

Enjoy your Injoy!
